A three-bedroom in North Myrtle Beach that sleeps eight

Yes. The one we'd point you at first is Vitamin Sea JC Fun N Sun, a first-floor three-bedroom in North Myrtle Beach that sleeps eight across a king, two queens and a sleep sofa, with two baths, a porch, and a washer and dryer in the unit. Eleven hundred and fifty square feet, an ocean glimpse from the porch. It's an updated beach house with an ocean view. If you want three real bedrooms in North Myrtle Beach with everyone's towels dry by morning, this is the one that does the job.
Why the first floor changes the trip more than the view does
Ground floor with only steps up the porch sounds like a footnote until you're the one carrying a cooler, a beach cart, two chairs and a bag of wet towels at four in the afternoon. JC Fun N Sun sits on the first floor, which means no elevator queue at the exact hour every other family in the building wants one, no stairwell with sand in it, and a straight line in from the car. Grandparents notice it. So does anyone who has ever tried to get a toddler and a boogie board upstairs at the same time.
The in-unit washer and dryer is the other quiet workhorse. A week of beach days generates an absurd volume of damp laundry, and a three-bedroom with its own machines means you drive home with a clean suitcase instead of a biohazard. It also means you can pack lighter on the way down, which matters when eight people are sharing trunk space.
The bed layout, and who it actually suits
Three bedrooms, eight guests: one king, two queens, one sleep sofa, two bathrooms. That configuration tells you something about who fits well here.
Two couples plus kids. King for one pair, a queen for the other, the second queen for the children, sofa for the straggler. Two baths, on in the main bedroom and the second is shared.
Three generations. Grandparents take the king, parents and kids divide the queens.
A group of friends. Three private rooms rather than a bunk barracks, which is the difference between a trip people repeat and one they don't.
The listing is explicit that the primary registered guest has to be twenty-five or older at check-in, so this isn't a graduation-week house. It's also capped at eight. If your number is creeping toward ten, tell us early rather than hoping; we'd rather solve it in the planning stage than at the door.
What the rest of our collection looks like, and why it's mostly condos
Vitamin Sea Properties is a handpicked set of oceanfront and ocean-view condos along the Myrtle Beach coastline, plus single-family homes, chosen for view, comfort and position rather than volume. Across the collection you'll find resort-style pools, hot tubs, lazy rivers, sun decks and private balconies, along with step-free entry and walk-in access from the garage in certain buildings. Those features belong to particular units, not to all of them, which is the whole reason this page names one home instead of handing you a filter.
The practical consequence for a three-bedroom search: North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach are separate towns about fifteen miles apart on Highway 17, roughly half an hour depending on how the summer traffic is behaving. Plenty of listings advertised as "Myrtle Beach" are all beachfront condos / resorts. If being in North Myrtle Beach specifically matters to you, because of the shag clubs, or Barefoot Landing, or because your family has gone to the same stretch of sand for twenty years, that's a question to settle before you look at anything else.

What's within easy reach of Ocean Drive
North Myrtle Beach rewards people who stay put. Main Street runs down to the ocean and carries most of what you'd want on foot or close to it: Fat Harold's Beach Club, home base for the Ocean Drive Shag Club and the reason this stretch is the center of Carolina shag; Flynn's Irish Tavern and Deckerz nearby; and the OD Pavilion Amusement Park right at Main and Ocean Boulevard, open March through October, where the arcade and rides handle a rainy evening without anyone needing to drive. The Pavilion also puts on live music and dance nights.
A short run inland on Highway 17 gets you to Barefoot Landing, a shopping and entertainment village built around a lake, with Alligator Adventure's American and albino alligators, lemurs and eagle owls on one side, and Greg Norman's Australian Grille looking out over the Intracoastal Waterway on the other. Bully's Pub and River City Cafe are there too. For breakfast, Hoskins on Main Street has been doing Southern plates since 1948.
Two more things worth knowing. McLean Park on Main Street has a lake, a playground, a meditation garden and a paved loop, and from May through October it hosts the free Music on Main concert series, which is the best-value live entertainment in town. And if you want the bigger theater nights, the Carolina Opry and Restaurant Row sit about fifteen minutes south on Highway 17, with the Alabama Theatre closer at Barefoot Landing.
Fishing types: Cherry Grove Fishing Pier, at the mouth of the inlet, took damage from Hurricane Ian and has been under restoration, so check its status before you build a day around it. The inlet and the surf itself are unaffected.
A South Strand day, if you want one
Drive south past Myrtle Beach proper and you reach Murrells Inlet, where the Marsh Walk runs along the water behind a line of seafood restaurants. It's a different register from North Myrtle Beach: boats, marsh grass, oysters. Myrtle Beach itself holds the boardwalk, the SkyWheel, Ripley's Aquarium and Broadway at the Beach, all of which make sense as a day out from a North Myrtle Beach base rather than somewhere you'd want to sleep next to.

Three questions to settle before you book anything
Most three-bedroom searches go wrong on the same points, in roughly this order:
Head count, including the sofa sleeper. "Sleeps eight" means eight bodies, and whether the eighth is on a sofa bed changes how the week feels. Decide who's on it before you book, not after.
Floor level versus view. Higher usually means more water in the window and more time in the elevator. Ground floor means the opposite. The JC Fun N Sun chooses the latter, deliberately.
Town, not just coastline. North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach are a real drive apart. Pick the one that matches the trip you've described to your family.
Ask us rather than filtering
We're a local team on this coast, reachable around the clock, and we answer the same day. Tell us the dates, the head count, who needs a real bed versus who'll take the sofa, whether anyone can't manage stairs, and whether you want the ocean in the window or just nearby. We'll tell you straight whether the JC Fun N Sun fits or whether something else in the collection is the better match, including when the answer is that your dates are gone.
Listed bookings carry free cancellation before the stated deadline, minus a processing fee, so holding dates while the rest of your group makes up its mind is a reasonable thing to do rather than a gamble.
